I voted third party, but my soul is singing nonetheless at the election of our nation's first non-white president.
Something very ugly was smashed yesterday... and even though I'm a skeptic when it comes to Obama's actual policies, seeing the joy on my neighbors' faces, I'm filled with the hope that maybe that fact alone can start to bring about change we can believe in.
